Sugar Skulls

I know the Day of the Dead has passed but I had so much fun making these that I wanted to share. The skulls came 9 to a bag at Dollar Tree. When I went back to get more they were sold out. Very disappointing. If anybody has any lying around and wants to give them up I'll be happy to decorate one for you in exchange for your generosity.

    How big are those darned thing?! I'll check Dollar Tree Eugene to see what kinda stock their rockin!

    About 2 inches tall. It's unfortunately past Halloween and now all they have are the dreaded Christmas decorations. If you find any I will be your best friend forever. I have visions of a house full of these things!

    These are made from sugar? They look lovely, especially decorated. I don't have a titch of D.O.T.D. decor and I'd love to start some. I'll try to swing by the Dollar Tree and have a look.

    They're plastic. I've found numerous recipes for the real sugar ones but I haven't ever tried to make those. These last longer!
